Kanye's 'Pastelle' clothing line NOT coming out... ever!

Kanye has been spotted wearing items from the 'Pastelle' collection left, right and centre but unfortunately, the collection's release will never see the light of day, even though images from the line were released online yesterday. No official statement as to why or what happened has been released yet but it has been rumoured that 'Ye will release a collection under his own name some time in the future. As always, we will keep you updated.

Below are the official images from the collection.

Review: MOBO Awards '09

Wednesday 30th September saw the return of the Music of Black Origin Awards aka MOBOS. This year's ceremony was hosted from a new venue, the SECC in Glasgow and was hosted by Reggie Yates and Miss Keri Baby.
While there were many great performances from the likes of N-Dubz, Kelly Rowland, Flawless, Diverisity and Mr Hudson and of course the Michael Jackson tribute, what really got people talking, was the fact that some of the UK's heavyweights, especially Dizzee and Tinchy, didn't win anything. We at D&H were slightly suprised as well because we're all for the UK music scene and we support TALENTED artists and we believe that the two of them have definitely put the work in this year. Tinchy's work rate this year has been ridiculous & the album is definitely worthy of an award. Same with Dizzee. Congrats to all the winners though. We're really happy that the majority of winners were representing for the UK! Hopefully, next year MOBOs creators will put the spotlight on more TALENTED up-and-coming artists!

The winners were,

Best UK Act– in association with Lebara: N-Dubz

Best Newcomer: JLS

Best Song– in association with PRSforMusic : 'Beat Again', JLS

Best Album: 'Uncle B', N-Dubz

Best DJ: Trevor Nelson

Best Hip Hop: Chipmunk

Best R&B: Keri Hilson

Best International: Beyonce

Best Video: 'Single Ladies', Beyonce

Best Reggae: Sean Paul

Best Jazz: Yolanda Brown

Best Gospel: Victizzle

Best African Act: Nneka

Nike Collab Series 2009 Parra x Cassette Playa Varsity Jackets

This is the end product of Nike's collaboration with Dutch artist Piet Parra of Rockwell & LeLe fame... the Nike x Parra Varsity Jacket. The varsity jacket which features a maroon wool body, along with matching maroon leather sleeves, will form part of the capsule collection of jackets and tees, all designed by Parra to match the footwear. The varisity jacket also features many of Parra's decorated facets, which the artist is famously known for. This includes a unique slogan "THE LOVELY UNDERACHIEVING LONERS," which can also be found on the bomber jackets and t-shirts. As well as striking patches of Parra's old designs.

The second Nike varsity jacket is...

Nike x Cassette Playa Varsity Jacket in buzz teal/black/white. Similar to the Parra collaboration, Nike asked London's very own Carri Munden aka Cassette Playa to come up with a footwear (Dunk Hi Premium) and a capsule collection of jackets and tees to match the footwear. The jacket features buzz teal wool body, along with black leather left sleeve and white leather right sleeve. The jacket is also tastefully embellished with Carri’s trademark colorful digital artwork patches just like the Parra design.

Both Varsity Jacket are awaiting release dates for London purchases, but should set you guys back atleast £80.
